Admin Settings
The
Remote Admin settings dialog allows you to modify the behavior of the Remote Admin
service. Below is a list of what each control means and how you can use it. Port
- This controls
the port for which incoming connections will be accepted. The default port is
8088, and so you can access your remote admin interface like so... http://your-host-address-or-ip-address:8088. Max
Simultaneous Connections - This controls the maximum simultaneous connections.
This value is normally automatically generated by the setup wizard. However, if
you wish you can adjust it manually. Please note that rerunning the wizard will
overwrite any change you make to this value. Admin
Password - This will be required when connecting to the remote admin service,
we recommend that you use a very strong password which contains random numbers
and letters. - Listen
Only on IP - This
allows you to bind the listening port to a single IP address. If an host name
is provided then it will be converted to an IP address which will then be used
for binding.
